In 2004, The
Carpinteri Family acquired a strawberry field located in a positive
microclimate. The site being suitable for grapevine growing, so we
decided to convert in a hybrid type of winery. The Carpinteri vineyard
is locate at 40 km from the entrance of the Gaspésie peninsula and about
2 km south from road 132 which makes it the most northern vineyard in
Canada. |

| The respect
of the environment is our first priority for the Carpinteri Family, this
is very important in harnessing our vineyard. The exclusive use of
organic fertilizers and care brought to our vine stock provides sound
high quality grapes. Being near the beneficial of the Rivière Blanche, this river brings in is own
way necessary fuel to the vineyard; it’ll bring protection against the
late winter frost and foster pesky dew. |
